Default Let the carnage begin

So fat to get to this point it was only about 1.5 hours for the tear down. I still have to pull the crank pulley and front cover, but that cam swap itself should be complete in about 1-2 more hours. Then it's on to the springs. Now I've been told that the condenser has to be moved forward, anyone els have to?

Looks like I'm getting new wires while I'm at it:

Looks like you are well on your way. What cam are you installing?

Anyone feel like coming to MO this Winter to help me? I will pay the airfare and provide beer!

I'm so jealous. Cam install... in a garage no less! What are the specs on it?

Sorry, can't comment on the condenser.

No you should not have to tilt the condensor any. It was tight, but mine cleared with about a centimeter to spare.
I was one of the early cam swap guys for a truck and removed the condensor -only to find out it fits fine with the condensor still on the truck

Greg--we didn't have to remove my condenser or move it in any way.

Which cam are you installing--the one that you were selling? Or another one?

Could you get some sound clips when you get that in?
