Let’s talk bout exhaust

not really. it'll have the capacity to flow more air, but with just a cammed 5.3, you don't really need it. it'd just lower your exhaust velocity & maybe lose a little bit of torque down low.

I don't like the idea of a single 3" above 350-400 hp. You're getting close to that power and talking 2-3/4" pipe. Yeah you can do it, but you'll gain power if you don't
Dual 2.5 will flow WAY more than single 2-3/4. And if every little bit matters to you and you want room to grow in the future go duals. Don't do muffler shop crush bent exhaust though. That **** is a waste.
If you want a bad *** flowing exhaust setup that doesn't cost much just buy the speed engineering true dual setup with x pipe. It'll out flow either of your options there, probably cost the same or less, sound good, and give you plenty of room to grow in power without having to redo the exhaust again, and lose nothing. It's $420-480 depending on axle dump or rear exit setup and connects directly to the headers and comes with everything you need. It's hard to beat that
