Default LC9 to LY6 swap suburban 2009

Hi!

I'm about to take my busted LC9 out of my 2009 Suburban 1500 and swap it out for a LY6. I need some confirmation, I have googled and searched the forums and sometime people says it's plug and play and just needs a tune/programming afterwards. Sometime there is a harness configuration needed if you want to keep VVT (which i do wanna keep).

If anyone can shine some light on this it would be very appreciated! For once I'm trying to do my homework before i get started
