Default Larger oil filter

Maybe a stupid question to some but is there a larger/longer oil filter that can be used on our trucks.
FYI i would think that more filter media and slightly greater capacity would be benificial.
Thanks BLAKE

The Mobil1 M1-206 is longer than the AC Delco filter that is available for our trucks. It's about the same size as the old PF-59 that GM used to offer for us. What's the factory filter now, PF-46 or something like that? I know that it's about an inch or so shorter than the M1-206. I think that the K&N filter is also longer than the Delco. Both the M1 and the K&N are a little pricey, but they're good filters. Not sure how big the Amsoil filter is...

Is that an AC Delco filter? Know the PN? Does it have an anti-drainback valve? (sorry for all the questions)

delco 61 (i think) is longer than the normal one. i used those until recently because advanced was running a special if you bought a mobil1 filter.

That's right, the Wix ones are longer, and the Delco ones used to be before they discontinued them. They actually used to have a high performance filter that I used, with a synthetic element in it, it was a "UPF-59", then they stopped making them. So I switched to the regular PF-59 and they did away with those. When I ran out of the stock of those that I had I swiched to the Mobil1 filters. I may give the Amsoil filter a whirl if I find out that it's the longer size like the Mobil1, Wix, etc.

Amsoil has a filter that is longer than the one they spec EaO32.

I use an EaO64 which crosses over to the PH 59 I think. It is definitely longer than the EaO32 and much easier to get a filter wrench on. It has the anti-drain back valve as well.

Excellent, thank you...I'm going to be contacting Charlie Wheatley soon to order some oil and filters for my mom's and wife's Toyotas and my truck soon, and didn't know the pn for my oil filter yet. You saved me some leg work
