All I have to say is wow! They really woke my cam up!
I got alot of power from 2500rpms up and a nice noticable difference from 1500-2400.
I had a local performance place install them (B&M Racing). They do alot of the LT1 and LS1s around here. They said they were hell to install. The header extensions that aren suppose to go directly to the cats were way off. I dropped my truck off at 8:00 and it wasn't ready until 4:45.
These headers are really nice in Quality, sound, & looks. And they are great in performance. They only cost me $585 shipped and $150 for the install.

Some people say they give just about the same amount of power and performance. Dean LaPole used to work with Hamm headers (mid-length headers, very, very similar to Hamms). Dean told me the Lapoles produce more power than the Hamms because the primaries are 1 3/4" (according to him the hamms have 1 5/8" primaries), port matched, and are suppose to have a better collector. Everyone on here with the Hamms seem to be be pretty happy with them though. Originally awile back, I wanted to get Hamm headers but, they don't make them anymore. The AS&Ms look nice but they cost $750. I'm on a tight budget so i got the LaPoles for $585 (shipped) + $150 installation = $735.
Hey, how do you like your JBAs and other mods?

well i thought the shorties were pretty good, but since i found this sight last year and all the good stuff i hear about long tubes, the shorties seem like little pansies now, just debating on which long tubes to get, i like the thorleys because they've been around a long time.

the only thing keeping me from getting thorley headers is that noone has dyno numbers for them. the asm headers and hamms have proven performance, but if these lapoles are pretty good they might be in the mix also.
