Default L99 water pump, lq9, hose routing?

I'm looking at using a L99 water pump to replace my factory pump in my 06 Sierra lq9. I'm doing a FAST lsxrt and a carbon fiber intake and the factory upper coolant hose is really making it a pain for the intake tubing to clear. So after reading the pumps are the same spacing just different outlets, I'm going to give it a shot. It should clean it up alot. Anyone used one, and what hose did you end up using?

Would imagine the hose off of either a camaro or a 6.2 truck could work, some of the 6.2 trucks came with a similar waterpump, iirc!
