Question Replacing Cam Bearings

Any tips or tricks. I've never done this, I borrowed my buddys tool. Seems pretty straight forward.

pound out the old ones
clean the bores
pound in the new ones lining up the oil holes

Is it tapered? Should I remove 1,2,3,4,5 from the back of the block . then install 5,4,3,2,1 from the front of the block? If I explained that correctly.
