That L92 truck intake is looking pretty good

Especially ported...

I think GM did a helluva job on this one. Looks like they fixed some of the LS2 truck intake shortcomings.
If I didn't already have the AFR 225's I'd be hard pressed not to jump on the L92 package wagon for my truck. I'm still thinking about it for my corvette conversion project but with the L76 intake instead.

I'd have to leave that up to the customer to name himself.
I was actually just excited to share pics of the manifold because I hadn't even seen pics of one before it arrived at the shop.
Anyway, if you haven't seen one... take a look at one somewhere.

The L92 intake is impressive compared to the original truck manifold. It measures 8 1/2" across at the top, runner to runner, compared to 7" on the original. I can put my whole hand down the throat to the end. The 07 Trailblazer is also much improved over the orig truck and looks like a slightly smaller version of the L92 and it measures 8" across at the runners. It necks down some going back to the end but still not near as small as the orig truck. Both have a much larger plenum area and looks to be very good flow improvements. Have you noticed how the TBSS HP/TQ curves look with a few mods and how high they spin and still look good compared to most trucks that peak well before 6000. It would be nice to see back to back tests to know just how good.

Because I have them hosted on the only space I pay for... my own commercial website.
I really believe this could be a great setup for a guy with a turbo or supercharger. No fitment issues or belt/pulley realignment issues like a swap to a FAST or LS6.
