Got tired of being strung along with the L92 Weiand Street Warrior Intake, so I purchased a L92 truck intake assembly with throttle body, rails and injectors off ebay for $300....

I was surprised when the intake arrived to see something on the back of the intake I did not expect. Someone please enlighten me.... This is going temporarily on a built 408 with L92 heads....

What is the cylindrical assembly on the back center of the intake manifold in the picture?

 

 

cant help ya bro, but thanks for the lead on the l92 intake, the guy had one left and was fixing to put it on e-bay.. i stagged it this morning.... hopefully i'll have the heads by end of next week along with the cam

 

Just a plug......I;ve heard rumors from engineering about a variable geometry intake manifold.....but that's it.....it's just a plug...

 

You are the man.... I was thinking about using it for a burst panel for when the second stage hit on my blown setup...

I already have my heads and am waiting on the Manley valves and springs.. The block is ready to go to the machine shop.

Just curious, what cam are you looking at?
