Default l33?

I have an 05 silverado z71 and have the common oil consumption problem. I want to install the ls6 valley pan but unsure if it is compatable with my motor. Its an aluminum block. Sorry if I keep bringing up common topics but I'm new to these motors. I'm an old schooler that knows carbs. I'm sick of adding oil every 1500 miles. Valve seals are good. Intake coated with oil. Thanks

I have a mightymouse catch can... look him up on ls1tech and send him a pm. I believe he has several options available. Its a quality piece and definitely one of the nicest I've seen.

Regarding a catch can, I've been doing a whole buncha research before I buy. I'm about ready to pull the hammer on one from conceptual polymer. He just came out with another "version" with a different internal construction that I am looking into to see if it works any better than his original with the replaceable Watts filter. Take a look and see what you think, his site has some good information at least to use to compare to other catch cans before you buy.

If he's adding oil every 1500 miles i would think he would be filling those up pretty quick. I'm not trying to step on your toes but it is something to think about since you are researching also. https://ls1tech.com/forums/16988987-post314.html here is what mine looks like... it can be used in boost applications or n/a. Im goin to be boosting eventually so i went this way. He can make them sealed for n/a applications only and it drops the price a fairly good amount. The site tube helps alot so you know when to drain it.

I use Mike Norris units. Very simple but very effective. You can order one from SDPC, one of the forum sponsers on the right. Great customer service !
