Default Know where to get good deal on hptuners????

Well I have had my mail-order update for a week, It's going back. Plus $80 shipping for round trip, is not my idea of cost effient. So saving some green backs for editing software. I strongly looking at HPtuners. Since includes scanning, editing, troubleshooting. Just wondering if anybody know of any good deals out there for hptuners software. Also looking at getting a redone laptop computer. When done I should have a nice tuning setup.

Also off-topic question. The recent update for my cam, came with way too much timing, sound like a diesel when picking up throttle. just at tip-in only. I don't want to send it back cause it idles to good and does not give me false misfire code with ses light. Where my old tune ran just as good but would idle rough and throw a code once while. So should I keep the recent update, and deal with the timing(its not pinging on top end)issue until I get editing software????

Sorry for the long post, Your info is very helpful thank you

The only place you can get HPTuners, is from
HPTuners.com. So far I have not seen anybody
selling theirs off, on the aftermarket. Get yourself
a refurb laptop with a hardware serial port, like
a 333-500MHz, these are pretty well price-
bottomed but have enough power for the job.

Yes, He said they must had a miss something that I changed(just the cam), something goofy with current software update of GM programming. He said he add timing and fuel to increase cylinder pressure. But thanked him for his time and an work. But its time to take over, and start learning. Wester I believe for people in the us that are planning not to mod the motor, or tear into it. But just looking for extra bit of snap. His first tune was excellent, for the stock motor.
