I thought I might find you on here. That second race was a great one. I had a slightly better reaction time, so you ended up winning by 5 hundredths. That's a great running truck. It sounded really good all the way down the track.

I ended up running a 13.97 on my last run after the temp had dropped and I dropped my tire pressure a bit. My only 2 mods are a K&N drop-in filter and a Mopar shifter, but I usually run quite a bit better than the average SRT-4. My brother-in-law was there with his SRT-4 that has the Mopar Stage 2 kit on it, and his best run was a 14.31. It was his first time out with the Stage 2 kit. Your truck is definitely stout.

 

Kool man, thats awesome u found me on here! Yeah those cars are quick. My truck is really loud right now, all i have is a ORY Pipe on it. I'm putting a muffler on it next week, with a cut out. I had to leave, i didn't get to see u race the 13 run. I need to ditch the spare tailgate next time for sure. I was planning on spraying a 150 shot but i do not have a blow down tube or a helmet. Did they give you hell about not having a helmet on you 13 sec pass?
U ever take your truck up there, is it stock?

No, they didn't mention the helmet issue. I brought one with me just in case, but didn't wear it for any of my runs. I ran my truck there last year. I think I ran a best of 14.32 there. It's quicker now. I ran a best of 8.71 in the 1/8 last weekend at Shadyside, so that should put it solidly in the 13s in the 1/4.

 

damn 8.7 is movin for that big truck, i love the powersroke turbo's. i tow with one at work on a daily basis they are great. u've got the best of both worlds man, fast turbo truck and car! I need to get a helmet, and spray next time out. maybe i'll see you there again.

Yeah, I actually have a lot more fun racing the truck since it's such a sleeper. It runs very strong in the 1/8. I'll definitely be down there again some time this year. Hopefully, your nitrous will malfunction if we line up again.

 

hey man good time i ran a 14.7 last weekend and im ready to be in the 13s already. what gears do you have in the rear? posi? i have e-fans, tune,dual exhaust with 1 chamber flows gutted cats and xpipe, and a cold intake. im going to be installing 373 and posi this next month and im installing edlebrock shorties this month. i hope that will get me in the high 13s. good luck.
