Kenny Bell or Whipple
#1
Ok i order a 212/218 cam, 918 springs, asm headers, yank 3000 stall and underdrive pulley yesterday. Now i am looking at sc to order so i can get this all done. Which sc do you guys like? I have been looking at the whipple or kenny bell but if you guys have seen better results for a 6.0 let me know thanks.

I had a kenne bell on my 1993 cobra. They get very....VERY.... HOT! go with the intercooled Radix. the Radix does not look as good as the kenne bell though to me, but looks dosent make it fast. <img border="0" alt="[burn out]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_burnout.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[USA]" title="" src="graemlins/patriot.gif" />

gees man, you sound like you are stealing my identity <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> I have a '99 and my name is Ryan. Ya, I have a cam, headers, and Whipple too <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
Good thing you don't live in Phoenix I guess.
Hey Ryan, did you say you have a 6.0L in your truck? What lsa is your cam on?
As far as the super chargers go, the Whipple and the Kenne Bell are practically the same thing. They are both twin screw and I think they are the same cubic inches also. The main difference is that the Kenne Bell kit gives you 8 new fuel injectors instead of Whipple's 2 auxilary injectors. Whipple uses a "wet manifold" setup. i.e. they spray raw fuel into the manifold to make up for lean conditions instead of Kenne Bell's setup of spraying directly into the individual cylinder's intake port. Whipple comes with their own computer to use in conjunction with the stock PCM, while Kenne Bell gives you a programmer that has an already tuned program you simply download to the stock PCM.

the Kenne bell id the better of the systems inmy opinion,(mostly due to the software reprogram, no piggy back, and the use of larger injectors to keep the manifold dry) but the customer service at kenne Belle, Sucked. I tried several times on differnet days to talk to some about their kit and when I did finally get through they were like it was a real pain in the *** to answer tech questions. for a almost $4000 purchase I'll want my questions answered thank you. I ordered a magnuson intercooled . (very helpful customer service.
