Default flp or dynatech anyone?

I am ready to get rid of my JBA headers and get a good exhaust. I was looking at the ASM headers but have been hearing bad things about the ceramic coating. I was also looking at flp or dynatech header/y-pipe combo. Are they the same company? They look identical to me! Anyway, I wanted to stay legal so I thought maybe these two combos would be a good choice. I know they are pricy but I can handle that.

Also, I wanted to get cutouts after the header. Is that the best place to put them for the most power gain? I wanted the best of both worlds. To be legal and to be able to run open headers which is no cats.

1) anyone does this?

2) open headers big gain over normal cats and muffler system?

3) Alot of people say y pipe is more of a gain than true duals because of scavaging and stuff. Is this true. A lot of people say duals hurt you.

Thank you for your replies.

Alittle off topic but how do you like your nitto's ?
you have the 555r's on the rear and 555's on the front as everyday street tires ?
Looking at getting a set for my truck

On the subject of the headers i don't think they have there carb approval yet therefore
so Nobody has a set yet
I would agree that the coating that ASM uses is crap mine are rusting with little use <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />

Default Re: flp or dynatech anyone?

I have my toyo proxes 255/55/18 on front and I just got my 555r thursday. They grab like hell!! They grab so much better than toyo proxes 400 tread wear! 555r has 100 tread wear. Run about 28 lbs. and they will grab very good. Haven't driven in the rain yet though.

by the way what is a carb approval?

Anyone else with any answers to my main post?
