That's possible. Im not sure why you would need to do that. (perhaps I dont understand the question) As soon as the supercharger overcomes the vacuum of the engine intake, the bypass valve will shut and the engine will see boost. This occurs at approx 2000RPM. Does that clarify?

Well, I just really like the sound you get from the BOV, granted it probably wouldn't be used much unless you rev the motor, or left off the throttle quickly at WOT. The ads I've seen though say that the Kenne Bell units are whisper quiet. Is this true? If so, I think I'd forget about the BOV to have a great sleeper setup. I'm still looking at different setups and trying to decide between the Kenne Bell, ATI D1-SC, or the Radix. BTW, what state are you in? Just wondering if you're close by so I could actually see the installed product.

The KB does whine like any twin screw. At WOT it whines like prop airplane on takeoff. Under normal driving conditions it is pretty quiet. Its like the magnaflow muffler. The sound is intense and powerful under WOT. The only other thing that sounds cooler is a turbo. It is definitely a sleeper. Ive taken SRT10's and Denali's with ease and its funny to watch them scratch their head wondering how a lowlife Extended CAB 5.3 smoked them of the line. When I swap this to my 6.0 add cam and headers it will be even more fun to drive. I live in Ontario, your welcome to come to the great white north to look at this setup!

I might just take you up on that at some point. I've been wanting to go up to Canada for a while to do some fishing. Just don't have the time right now.
