Default Keep fuel lines off firewall with TBSS intake?

Just did the swap and don't like how my factory fuel lines are almost kinked against the firewall with how far back the Corvette fuel filter sits. What have you guys done to remedy this? Besides going with an external regulator and stainless lines. I figure maybe they make a 90* extension that is male on one end and female on the other (both quick connect) to maybe just snap in and get the pressure off the lines. Either that or cut the line coming off the TBSS fuel rail so it is shorter and re-flare it?

You can make a extension like you speak of.

Are these the fittings I would need? Just not sure if the female quick connect is the correct one.

Did you ever get this figured out? I'm about to run the vette filter and need a good permanent solution. I thought I read a thread a while ago about a guy who found a GM hose that connected to the tbss/nbss rail and was about 12-14 inches long, and the other end connected to the corvette filter. It gives u just enough room to relocate it somewhere, and still use both of the factory in/out fuel hoses. But i cant find the thread now.

That's the one. Is the hose that's covered by the wire loom flexible? I'm just curious if I can shape it into something use-able, where I can mount the filter/reg, maybe on the firewall...

Heres what i had originally done with mine, my plan with the new line is to loop the bend in the metal part of the line around the crossover out of the filter and loop ig back around to the fuel rail, way i am set up now my fuel lines arent rubbing the firewall they are basically in same spot they were on the original intake just pulled over towards the brake booster slightly....

Ignore the worm clamps, they have since been replaced with smooth fuel line clamps!!!!
