you are running out of fuel you arent running too lean cause your electrodes are still on your plugs if you get another fuel pump and retard timing on the very top you should be ok my buddies runs like greased cat shiite on a 150 but he was burning plugs at 125 cause not enough fuel might try one of those as well

Are you running the Hypertech 93 program with the spray? When I ran mine, I cut it back to the 87 program but still ran 93 (94 sunoco actually) fuel. When I did run it with the 93 program I ran Sunoco 100+ GT fuel....all of that was with a 100 dry shot. I don't think I'd run a 150 shot and the Hypertech tuning together. Try it without the HPPIII and maybe work from there. At most run the 87 tune with 93 fuel.

Very good suggestion!

Do you have a wideband? I am going to guess no. Are you able to monitor fuel pressure? You should be able to get away with a 150 shot without retarding if you are running 93 octane.. BADMOFO may have hit the nail on the head..

I am running the 87 tune with 93 octane. I wouldnt dare run it with the 93 octane tune. Its pinging still even on the 87 octane tune.

Whats the 87 tune with 93 octane do? I was told to run a 100 wet shot without Hypertech tuning. My HPP3 is for top speed limiter and the 6K rpm. I want to try this now!

Thats pretty much all I use mine for. I use mine for the rev limiter, shift firmness, top speed limiter, and the 160 thermostat setting. Also to correct my tire size for the speedometer.

See thats what everyone is telling me. I am running 62-35 with detonation.
I dont understand it either. I am running 93 octane and put some octane booster in it as well to raise some octane points. It still detonated.
Maybe bottle pressure had a hand in this . It was at 750 psi.
I am stumped at this moment. I think I am going to up to a 38 on the fuel side to be more safe and maybe try the NOS octane booster.
I am also running on a stock fuel pump. Some of my friends are telling me that I may be blowing the spark out and I need to gap my plugs to .32 instead of the .38 I have now.
