Default just spent a few hours ls1editing

well i did pretty much everything i wanted to...

delete egr, all the hypertech stuff but got it tuned pretty good for fuel.

Running 29-30* of timing past 5800, half the time it feels lots faster and half the time it gets like 6* of knock, but if i let off the gas and floor it right afterwards there is no knock. im thinking i just need to desensetise(sp?) my knock sensor and all will be good. will try some octane booster sometime soon and see if that helps it (hopefully not)

still like it mroe than hypertech though <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Glad its working - I was worried.

Your best bet is to run the tank near dry and put a galloon or two of 100+ octane in it. I hear that is much better than any pour in booster.

Stay away from NOS booster.

My buddies 87 Turbo T, with stout bottom end and big turbo runs better on straight 93.

With the booster it pops and sputters.

That is to say, it loves 116 Race Fuel (No Cat) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

yep, i dont think im going to need it anyways. i was seeing a max of like 30-31* of timing lol, guess our trucks dont like that much, but worth a try! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> i have it down to a max of about 28 up top now and its fine <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

*i have a bottle of NOS booster that will most likely become a paper weight now ha
