Default Just recieved Auburn Limited Slip

Any one know about this limited slip differental? I was told that it was better than the Eaton but it was really alot cheaper. I have the stock posi now that is popping and snapping all over town. Looking to hear some info please.. thans for the help...

Did you get the Pro series or the standard series Auburn limited slip?The Pro series is the stronger of the two for high performance usage while the standard series is OEM quality.

I destroyed the "high performance" series.....

I just put in the "pro series" once the trans is done I will let you know what I think.

I got the reagular street series. I am not pushing any horse power so i didn't see a reason to get the pro series. I may install a cam later but for now i have the little bad azz 4.8......

you should be fine. Auburn upgraded me to the Pro Series at no cost to me! I was very suprised. I guess they did not want the bad press!

I have broken a Pro series and my buddy with a 93 Lightning has shattered 2 of them (and Auburn refused to warranty them). Something about the case not strong enough to take the increased spring pressure which is what makes it a "pro" series. I never had a prob with a standard Auburn, though, and I have had 4 of them.

It will be put in wed. and will be tried out friday night at no problem raceway. If you see a long wheel base truck with a ram air hood, thats me....
