Wasn't there supposed to be an aluminum 5.3L and 6.0L block coming out in the trucks? I know I heard that in the past. Anybody heard anything?

The 5.3L block is out right just not in the fullsizes.

I think the TrailBlazers also come with the aluminum 5.3

I would look for an aluminum 6.0 to come out a year or two after the C6 debuts.

The way my luck runs I can tell you exactly when the alum 6.0 will be available. It will be on the shelf at all dealers this Wed. I know this because my new iron 6.0 block is supposed to come in on Tues. It never fails, as soon as I order something then something better comes out. I always get *** ended!! hahahahahaha

 

L, where did you get your 6.0 from?
