Well I just got this 2003 Z71 Silverado and I love it! I would like to get some boltons on this thing such as intake, exhaust, etc...However I don't know what would be the best or where to turn. Can anyone here help me out? I know NOTHING about these trucks.

First thing to do is spend a couple hours in the search engine on this site and read all the great info, then make your decisions. Learn about the truck before you go buy things so you wont have to redo all the mods to go a different direction. You need to also figure out your plans on how far you want to go with modding cuz you will spend a lot of cash. Daily driver? Streetability? Track? these are only some of the important issues you need to figure out.

i like my K&N fipk. and for exhaust dont mess with shorty headers they're not worth the money. pacesetter longtubes ceramic coated can be bought for under 400 bux. i love my longtubes and my exhaust so far, best bang for the buck I've done for my truck. also, get a tune from a reputable shop or do a mailorder tune from someone like allen at nelson performance (theyr'e a sponsor, the link is on the right---->). i tune my own truck with HPTuners, but I do all my own work on my truck and being a gearhead I always wanna change something. pm me if you need any help

Where are you located? I could upload a tune for you.

Personally, I dont like cold air intakes. They have terrible filtration qualities and most are oiled. Oil + MAF =

What would be the best catback exhaust for this thing? I plan on running LT headers and O/R Y pipe...

which is why i got an aem kit. iv been through the k&n stuff on other cars and havin to oil the filter, that ***** for the birds. definately do the pacesetter longtubes, everybody tells me my z sounds just like a old camaro with a flowmaster. if i had to do it over again:
tires & wheels
free mods....maybe
headers w/o cats
intake
stall--dont have
gears...i would do 4.56 instead of 4.10 w/ 33's
esky gauges----trans temp.....dammit i had a set and sold em
tune
just drive it...
