Default Just ordered the Holley Hi Ram intake

I am trying to get this 404 to make over 500rwhp NA. Right now it has the stock 78mm TB and stock OBS intake. A 92mm FAST will go on the Holley to see if i can get the truck from 470 to over 500.

If all goes well the new intake, TB, (not sure if i am going with a 100mm MAF or not) and fuel system (so i can also spray a 100shot) will be done and tuned by end of July.

Will follow up with results.

Don't bother with the 92... Get a 102 and a manifold to handle it, you're going to need the airflow to break 500.

Thanks for the advice but my truck is making 470 on a stock 78mm so i think going to 92 is plenty to get another 30rwhp with ease.

Pur Performance emailed back today and said Holley has discontinued the Hi Ram.

So i may do a Pro Flo since they are only a little more than $500 and the damn LSXrt is $900. Plus i am gonna do a small shot at that LSXrt may not stay together if there is a backfire.

Subscribed! Why does the LSXrt have to be soo damn expensive? What kind of torque are you making right now? Be interesting to see what tq numbers the Pro-Flow makes with those long runners.

Sierra1320..

The last dyno on the truck was 470hp / 470tq. I did order the Fast LSXrt last night - it will be here next week and right nor i have a Fast 92mm TB to put on it. Will use that for now and see how it works. My tuner says i need another fuel pmp as the stocker is tapped out (42lb injectors) so the truck will get a Intake, TB, fuel system uprgrade all at once. Hopefully this can all happen fairly soon but i think it will more likely be end of August before it gets done.
