I have to tell you one thing. This baby is barking gears now. Can't believe how much it helped all gears. Wed. night i will be at No Problem hoping to get into the 14's. Have some Nitto's to try...... <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

you mean you installed corvette shift silenoids in the valve body in the tranny it made that big of a diffrewnce a silinoid are all the same its the line pressur that makes it shift so harbut interested in this give me some details email me blemoine02@aol.com

He is talking about the band apply servo on the pass side of the tranny. The Vette servo's orafice is smaller thus causing higher line pressure and more applied force on the bands.

Actually the "vette" servo has more apply area. When you take what you know about PSI, the more area being pushed on, the more actual pressure. It has more square inches for the fluid to press on. My buddy and I installed this in his cammed 02 Z71 and it made a huge difference on the 1-2 and the 2-3 shift. Definitely a must do mod for anyone racing or driving their truck hard. This part can be had for $15. Its all you need for a mild-moderate motor.
