Just got true duals put on, WTF?????

Alright, i just had my true duals welded up w/ a magnaflow xpipe and no mufflers.
It sounds like azz... very quiet. No rasp or pop-- just the crappy sounding drone. It doesnt even liven up when i get on it!! Im getting some 4" tips, so that should help a bit. As of right now the x pipe is coming out though.
Any ideas on why its so quiet? Could my cats be clogged? ive heard some guys on here say when they put the x pipe on it takes some of the rasp out.

I just looked under mine and there is a hole in one part of the pipe and 2 of the welds are leaking on top. The muffler shops around here suck fat d*ck and I'm sick of giving them my money!

pulling the x pipe out would be the last thing i'd do....it helps make power better than anything you did with your exhaust. did you just use stock tubing modified to be true duals, or all new tubing.

deer park muffler fixes you right up. never charges to patch there work. if its got an exhaust leak, they'll fix it free of charge.
thats why i keep useing them for my exhaust needs.

Lones Star Muffler of of I think Highway 35 (Telephone Rd) towards Pairland does EXCELLENT work.
One of the best guys from Deer Park Muffler actually went to Lone Star.....he is awesome. Call Lonestar and ask for the Ex-Deer Park Guy and they'll fix you up good.

Magnaflows are a quiet muffler to begin with. Which ones did you go with? That makes a big difference. Where did you put the x pipe?

The thing is around here people get pipes to be loud, not for performance. You should have seen the look on the guys face when I asked for 2.5 inch exhaust instead of 2.25
I found another shop today, and I'm going to see if he can add a flange so I can pull the transmission out whenever I want.
