I remember when I went from "peg-leg" w/ 3.55:1 gears to Eaton and 4.10:1s in my Ford, soooooo much nicer.

File...
Stock springs are 400lbs of preload in the Eaton. Most real LSD's from the factory (Trac-Lok Ford and SureGrip Mopar) are like 100-200lbs tops.
Basically it puts more load on the clutches so they don't slip as much around corners. I'd do it only with a good amount power. It won't act like a spool by any means with the 800's in your truck, but it's gonna take more to get them to slip...so your rear is going to be locked most of the time...which I like. Just gots to be careful driving in the rain/wet streets...you can get turned around VERY easily.
Looks cool but is pretty dangerous.
They were $70 or so when I ordered them. They won't go in my Ford until I have to rebuild the clutches in the Eaton.
