Default Just a few questions

Does anybody know how much my truck weighs?? And is my rear a 8.5in 30 spline?? I'm needing to get ahold of a locker or lsd or something. I bought one of the cheap g-tech meters and on the runs where i smoke 2nd all the way through showed a 0-60 of 7.1 and a quarter mile of 15.6 and 92.1. Then i got a buddy to lay down in the back of the truck (he's an idiot), haha, it's actually pretty funny, i caught 2nd and it slung him back into the tailgate and he think he might have broke or sprang his ankle or something, lol. Anyhow, w/him in the back i still spun like hell, but not near as bad and 0-60 went down to 6.8 and quarter mile was 15.3@91.7. I know the g-tech isn't dead on, but from what i hear they're pretty close. But anyhow, how much it weigh and what's my rear?

Rear is an 8.6. Dont know about the spline count though. Any place you call will know what you got. Your truck weighs about 4700 pounds probably a little less since your truck has a manual.

I have heard some not so good things on here about powertrax, but have no experience with them. I would highly recommend an Eaton posi.

Eaton all the way the powertrax is weak. Eaton is awesome I have been extremely happy with mine. Even if you do mess it up you can rebuild it you cant do that with the powertrax. It may cost a little bit more but is well worth it IMO.
