Default JP timing chain and melling pump update

I got timing chain JP5618 and melling oil pump #10296...
I need your help to correct me before I install with no mistake. I see the timing chain JP performance have a spocket with number for advance/retard timing. I thought we could stay a dot from cam to crank straight line up. Tell me how it work if it cant be same as stock the spocket i have now. I mean cam timing dot and crank spocket dot. I hope not confuse you?

Also the pump I saw the blue spring. The red one is in pump. Which is good for daily and boost turbo.

I been research a lot about advance and retard. How about if I just leave it dot to dot without doing advance or retard? I plan to swap cam tu1 225 cam in. Will I able get some power from dot to dot. Let me know.
