Intercooler question
#1
A friend asked me the other day if you could have an air to air intercooler without a supercharger or turbocharger. I have never really thought of it but it has crossed my mind. Have it mounted in the large middle opening in the front vailance so air gets to it even better. Could it work/ cool the air significantly?

no because theres nothing increasing the heat to need to cool. on a turbo ot S/C it increases the air temp, so if its 80 out and ur turbo you could be running in the 200 deg range outta the turbo, that u need to cool back down to 80. if the air coming in the engine is already 80 theres nothing to cool.
the only thing u could do is add a cold air intake.
