Default Intake Tube

Does anyone know if I can make an intake tube since I have a throttle body spacer plate? I have an Airraid setup that I got off of ebay for 50 bucks, but I had to use my stock intake tube. With the throttle body spacer I don't know if I can design something that will fit with the stock fan. I want to pick up some electric fans, but it really not in the budget right now. I was just wondering what everyone thought. I am open to any ideas. How much does the stock intake tube hold you back?

to tell you the truth unless you are heavily modded i wouldnt worry to much on the tube right now. save for the fans and then make you a good tube then. i have seen people go as far as to cut the shroud and notch the fan some for tubes. oh yay throw away the spacer.
