Well, time to to turn the experts on LS1tech.com.

How do you remove the coupling at the rear of the intake manifold for the vacuum line going to the brake booster? My '01 crate motor has what appears to be a capped connector, so i think I need to remove the one from my '00. I've tried unscrewing and pulling to no avail. Any ideas?

 

Not 100% sure how that comes out.....I am looking at one here now on the bench, I will mess with it a bit....
