Default Intake & injector question???

My brother has a 06 1500 with a 4.8l in it. He just bought a complete 6.0 out of a 03 2500HD and he plans on going carb and putting it in his 86 k10 mud truck. He's wonder if there's any performance gain to be had from putting the 6.0 intake and injectors on his 4.8L? If not, I just bought a 03 2500HD that had a 5.3 swapped into and I can't afford to put a 6.0 back in it for a few months so if my bro cant just the intake and injectors on his 4.8 would I beable to use them on my 5.3? My truck has hydroboost so the vacuum line for the master cyclinder on the 5.3 is capped off right now. What would we do if my bro ran the 6.0 intake on his 4.8 for the brake vacuum? Sorry for all the questions, were just trying to figure out who will benefit most from using the spare parts.

They are the same intake. A stock intake that may get some gains would be the TBSS or NNBS intake. It has the 4 bolt 90mm throttle body opening. But is a bit much on a stock 4.8

Ok sounds good, would he see any gains from the 6.0 injectors? I think they would be pointless on a stock motor.

No gains from injectors. Bigger injectors all you to make more power, but the injectors themselves won't do anything. Unless your maxing them out.

You can remove the plug on the back of the intake from the 6.0 by pushing the ring in and pulling the plug out. You can do the same on the Vacuum Nipple on the 5.3L. This way you don't have a blocked off vacuum line, it will be plugged the correct way.

I just went ahead and got the whole intake from him since he has no use for it.
