I got a true flow intake tube. utilizes the stock air box but replaces the factory tube. no modifications necesary. just remove the tube and slide this one in its place. also its not made of plastic its made out of some kind of heat dissapating material. sopposedly?(sp) paid about 240 for the tube and a foam filter that came with it. if i was to do it all over again i would buy it again.

Another vote for the UPD.

I got my Volant for $250 shipped on Ebay......I'd look for any of these kits on ebay (well maybe not the UPD) - and ditto on the 'minimal gains' - intake wont do much but once you start modding more and more it pays off.

if i were to do my truck all over again, of course RADIX would be one of my first mods. then i would have to make my decision from there.

if i didn't go to a SC, i would probably buy any of them (volant, K&N, or UPD)

overall. i am pleased with K&N. nice sound, good throttle response, and a few ponies. haven't had the chance to compare it to anything yet
