I ordered a transgo shift kit and servo from joe in san an. and it doesnt have a video with it. All them little pieces scare me, and do I need to install those high reving springs that come with the kit? I want to install it myself to save a few $$$. Any suggestions and warnings for the do-it-yourselfer?

 

Do a search and see what probs some people have, like me I have a video and the only prob with that is they do it on a 700R4, granted its almost the same but there are some diffs. I would have to find it but I am all packed up to move soon so it would be awhile, sorry. Just follow the instructions well. The vid will help but you can do it without. Just don't put a washer in the 2nd accumulator housing and talk to hitmanx about the holes in the valvebody. He has a better way to do it, diff sizes anyway on the feed holes. What servo's did you get?

 

I got the kit from Joe who's with Allen. It's got a vette servo. Does anybody have a video they don't want anymore? Do I just throw the springs for the high reving kit away?

 

i got a video i dont think i need anymore. however, i may be able to transfer it to a mpg file so you can view it from your computer and save shipping.

If I studied the directions enough could I do it? Is the video good at showing the step by step? I don't want to drop more $$$$. Also, anybody have the high reving kit put in there tranny or just throw it away??
