i bought all my stuff way back and started 4 days ago... im slow i know but i didnt leave anything not cleand ( inside the engine)
so what happend is i lost 1 of my 3 ARP cam gear bolts and and look ed for it for almost 5 hours . didnt have any luck.
so i replaced it with the cam retainer plate bolts from ARP .
they are excatly the same but the retainer bolts are 2 threads shorter than cam gear bolts
will instailling 2 cam bolts + 1 retainer plate bolt cause any vibration?
will this damage the cam/cam bearings?

Damn that sounds like bad, good question for ARP. I would just go and buy another set just to be on the safe side. Dont want to be in the middle of a line up and punch it to hear a noise that no one wants to hear.

if i had i would ordered a new set and installed it better than having doubts but this is my only vehicle and it has been setting for 4 days
good news is the engine is running good for not having a tune yet!!

drove the truck for a while every think was ok the power was the same as DD on part throttle ( not tuned yet)
full thorttle was great for not having a tune( couldent handel the bug to push th pedl)
after that... engine power reduced cam on the DIC + CEL and missfiring code at 40 miles after cam swap
the engine has a rough idle now . ill be tunning it without a wide band for now and will dyno tune it 2 weeks later
