Installed Meziere

Pump went on without much trouble. The outlet fitting has to be removed to insert the SBC thermostat. You need a strap wrench for that. I cut a hole in the upper plastic fan shroud to route the upper hose through because the hose can't follow the OEM path due to the different position of the Meziere outlet. Not really a big deal. I used relays to trigger my fans and the Meziere. Only had to do a little grinding on the Idler Tensioner, but no grinding required on the lower side of the intake or the power steering pump. When summer gets here I'll see if the Meziere is up to the take of stop and go traffic with the A/C "ON" in 95 degree heat.

I installed the fans quite a while before I put the Meziere in. I initially left the fan shroud off after the electric fans were first put on, but I found that the water temperature went up without the shroud. I put the shroud back on and saw the water temp. drop immediately.
The shroud does makes a difference. The pump looks good, but once it is installed and the shroud goes back on you can't even see it. If you open your hood and someone takes a look at your engine they'll never know you have the Meziere unless they strain to look for it.
