Default Installed ASM Headers and O2 Simms

Well I installed my ASM headers the other day. I removed the Cats and installed Casper O2 simms. Now I got two new codes- P0140, P160, which says insufficiant activity on 02 sensors B1 S2, B2 S2. Has anyone out there ran into this problem. Thanks for any information that you provide....Jeff

Thats the o2 sensor codes for the rear o2's. Are you sure you got the right sims and are they hooked up correctly?

You need to make sure you have the right o2 sims. The pink wire on the o2 sim needs to line up with the pink wire on the factory wiring harness, if they dont you either need to swap the wires on the 02 sim or return them & get the correct ones. You can check out the installation instructions . I have a 2000 5.3 & bought the ones for my truck & they wasnt the correct ones, I ended up modifying them to make them work. Also if you installed the incorrect o2 simms on your truck you probably fried the fuse for the heater on the o2 & it will have to be replaced.
