injectors

Default injectors

im puttin together a 5.3 with p&p heads milled 224/224 cam full bolt ons will i need to upgrade injectors as well or will the stock ones work for now and how much is it to upgrade to bigger injectors and wat all is involved

you will need injectors. 8.1 marine injectors are plug and play

probably around $300+ for 42 lb injectors. You can find some used one because people move up to the 60's.

I have a set of 42#'s that came off my radix used about 1 month plug and play should be off my 6.0 i like to get $300 shipped if interested e-mail me. brobradh77@aol.com

Yea you can drive it, but you're injector duty cycle will be pretty high after 5k rpms or so.

If I were you I'd just get some regular 8.1L injectors. They flow at 31# which is plenty for 99% of all n/a modded 6.0s and smaller

If you decide to go bigger, you can find plenty of marine injectors sets for $200 or less. Just check ebay and local forums. I know everybody says I got lucky, but I paid $36 for my 8.1L injectors off ebay.

I've never seen 42# injectors for under $300 bucks any where even e-bay. I must not be looking in the right spot.
