what are our options on injectors? i would like to get 50's to be safe for the future.

-were do you get them?
-cost?
-what about ls1 injectors?

 

the largest injector you can just bolt/plug in seems to be a 42lb/hr(@58psi), you can get that at http://www.rceng.com/technical.htm , they are expensive!!

injectors for the ls1 motors are a little taller and have a diferent conector but you can make them work, i got a set of 50's from racetronics, people say these big injectors are hard to tune and don't idle well. i havn't had ANY problems, it idles smooth and took about an hour to tune them in with ls1edit.

what is your planed set up, a 50lb injestor is prety big.

 

I also have a question on this as well? I recently bought a 5.7 ls1 and all i have are the 5.3 injectors. The motor i bought was dynoed @ 385 rwhp. Will the 5.3 injectors hold this? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> If not then what size should I install? I believe the 5.3 are around 21-24 lbs/hour. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> thanx.
