Default injector tuning required?

I'm going to be installing an STS kit with 44# injectors on my 4.8 soon. My question is, will i be able to drive the truck to the tuner with the new injectors in or will i need to swap them out when i get there? Thanks

If it wasnt for the turbo I would say no way in hell, you will run pig rich, if it even runs at all, washing the cylinder walls down and messing up your O2 sensors. Not sure though with the turbo if it will burn off all the extra fuel your dumping in the cylinder. Hopefully someone else will chime in...good luck.

Nope, you can't install them until you can adjust the tune for them. You will be fine to drive to your tuner as long as you don't get into boost.
