Default Injector Swap

I have a set of 2002 ls1 fbody injectors laying around and a scrap ls1 harness. Would it be for any benefit to swap to these injectors? I have a walbro 255 pump, s&p headers, dual exhaust, and custom cai, with a custom tune...on a 2002 5.3

Also if it is worth it, is al i need the injector wire pigtails? I was looking at the truck inj. versus the ls1 inj. and it seems the ls1 ones are taller...

What do you guys think?

I think the injectors maybe the same, flow wise anyways. I'm not sure you'd gain much or anything for that matter, but I may be wrong....maybe others will chime in that know specifics.

I wouldn't bother swapping them in. If you get to the point you need bigger injectors you can always step up to the 44lb/hr(59psi) Multec II's which are a direct plug in.

The "LS1" style injectors require more work than just swapping pig tails. I did a write up on how to swap them in at the link below. Don't worry about swapping until you exceed the limits of the direct style plug ins IMHO.

Just find you some some 8.1 31lb/hr injectors if you want.

Youd also have to shim up your fuel rails for the LS1 jectors, they are longer.
