Default injector replacement

Hey all, I am gonna be doing an injector swap here, and have been trying to figure out how to get the factory retainers off!! I've been playing with them for a while, and without breaking anything, I have been unable to disconnect the injectors with any success. Any help or tips would be awesome. Thanks, Josh.

If I remember correctly there is a retainer clip in the clip itself. That pulls back (not out) and then you can squeeze on the sides of the injector plug and it will wiggle off.

Use a small screwdriver and pry sideways to remove the metal clips holding the injectors to the fuel rails.

Yea, I remember that when I did mine, they were tight as hell...had to exert a little more force than I expected.

Remove the gray palstic that is on the clip and this will allow you to press down on the clip that is holding it, you could use a small screwdriver if needed.
