Question injector question

I bought a used 2006 LM7 for my jeep (engine swap)
I just discoverd it was originally a flex fuel engine with a stainless steel fuel rail and flex injectors. I installed a 2006 tahoe intake manifold.

I just pulled the flex fuel injectors (12580426) and attemped to install gas fuel injectors (25323974) which are to stort by 1/4 inch.

So, do I have to change my fuel rail to the plastic type, or are there gas injectors for my 5.3 (LM7) that are longer and still work with my oem stainless fuel rail ?

The flex fuel injectors are fine, just have the pcm tuned for the increased flow of the flex fuel injectors and it will be fine.

I did know that I can use the flex fuel injectors, but I want to get MPG's. If I have to, I will change the fuel rails so I can use the stock injectors once I figure that out.

I not finding much info out there about what gas fuel rails or injectors to use with an 06 Tahoe intake.

Are you keeping it a returnless or return style system?

Fuel injectors do not determine MPG....

Your MPG will remain the same between injectors if you are running regular gas, you just have to have the tune setup for the injectors you are running and everything will be fine.

I thougt the flex fuel injectors operated at higher pressure and higher flow rates than the gas injectors,

How will regular gas atimize at lower pressure though the flex fuel injector?

I forgot I will have to change all my injector wire plug to flex fuel if I use the FF injectors.

I had a custom engine harness made for gas and it came with the gas injector wireing and plugs.
