Probably 5/8" clearance. The instructions say 3/4" is what is expected.

Check this out ...

If you get under the truck and look ... you can see that they aren't just close, but they are ON the frame.

Damn, I did want some of these but the way my truck lopes I would wear a hole in one of those things or the flanges would get messed up. I wonder if anyone has noticed any rubbing on theres. I wouldnt ever be able to go offroading with it like that either. Have you tried heating and bending anything?

I just looked at the pic again it looks like its been rubbing on the frame.
