These 3 pics may help a little. The only thing that rubs on mine is the tranny lines, which the directions say you may have to bend a little.

That bottom tube still looks awfully close to the rail. Are you sure it isn't touching or banging?

Where in TX are you? Have you put a scan tool on it to see if your getting any KR from it?

no I havent tried any type pf scan tool because Im trying to get my tranny lined out. I have no rubbing anywhere but on the tranny lines. Im sure what you are seeing is either from me installing them or marks from my dirty hands. I am located in the beaumont area of TX.

I looked at my passenger side header today and it looks fine. About a 1/4 inch or less between the frame and header and about 1\2 away from the tranny lines. I wonder if the header gasket they sent with the kit is to think and pushes the header out a little farther . I re-used my stock gaskets which were alot thinner then the paper one.

Stupid question, but I'm assuming that they get run under the tranny crossmember, right? Reason I ask is, while I have my truck on the lift, I was looking at it and trying to firgure it out. Also, how far back along the frame do they go? How close to the crossmember is the collector?

the headers them self do not reach as far back as the crossmember, I say they come between 8 to 10 inches or so from it. I would also say about 2 inches or so away from the frame.
