Default Important tuning question.

I bought a Superchips Tri tune max tuner (I should have bought a custom tune), but I am still happy. I got a 2000 SB RC Silverado with the 5.3, with a K&N airfilter and Borla exhaust. The 0-60 times on a stopwatch are around 6.8 to 7 seconds flat. I extended the Rev. limiter to 6000 rpm, and also the shift points. I still think that it should be a little faster. It seems by 6000 rpm the power kind of flattens out, so would my truck be faster if I lowered the rpms down, and if I did would I also have to lower the shift points. I would appericate the input.

Some people run faster when shifting around 5700-5800 rpms, especially on the stock cam. I say try shifting about 200-300 rpms sooner and see if that works. Good luck!
