Well what kind of stuff are you looking at?

Cams, heads, and intake manifolds will work (with modification for the intake stuff), but anything like headers, cold air intakes, and alot of bolt ons will not fit because of the differences in the engine bay.

Also, when/if you pick out a cam, be sure you remind yourself that you have a 4.8 vs a 5.7, so something that will be a small to mid range cam in an ls1 could be quite large in your smaller displacement motor.

Lifters will be the same, all the way up to LS7 lifters if I'm not mistaken. Also, springs and rods will be the same, and most people (including myself) have bought 7.4" rods. But ya, basically most internal things from an ls1 will fit, but I'd ask on here for something odd ball just to make sure before you buy it. Good luck on your project!
