If you have a Radix and have not....

If you have a Radix and have not ordered the optional upgrade heat exchanger you are screwing up! As some may know I was struggling with IAT's in the 170-180 degree range at the top of second gear. I cut and hacked my way into stuffing the upgrade into my H2 (you truck guys have a spot that it damn near drops into... I don't!). I had to remove and relocate my transmission cooler and bend and move my power steering cooler and lines but it is done and it is WELL WORTH it. My IAT's peaked at 150 degrees on a logged run today (65 degrees ambient). Not to mention that the temps recover much faster and stay in the low 100's under normal driving conditions. I cna even run my previous 17 degrees of timing again thanks to this cooler.
This heat exchanger installed in a truck should be even better than my results.
Thanks, Brian!

The measurements on the cooler are 23 3/4 x 7.5 x 2. It is a huge improvement over the stock H2 cooler because the coolant passes across the new one twice whereas the stock cooler for the H2 is a single pass. I the beleive the stock truck kit has a larger cooler than the H2, but I know that Chevy High Performance said the upgrade cooler was still a big improvement on the SSS they did.
I'd recommend calling Magnacharger and talking to Brian (BlownChevy) about getting one.

The one Brian quoted me had dimensions of:
I like the sounds of yours better.
Regardless, after three weeks I could not get a price from him so I began looking for my own H/E in the aftermarket. I'm going to mount mine behind the front bumper valence. I've got about 25" of length and 3" of depth to work with between the frame rails, I'll try and maximize the space with something from Griffin or Fluidyne.

I sent him the exact same heat exchanger I measured for you. Sounds to me like he measured the entire H/E tanks included. I measured the core surface area for you since I knew the H/E would fit in your truck.

The cooler and my new convertor should get me closer to my goal
