Default IC is whistling????

I just installed an air to air intercooler on my STS powered truck. When I step on the gas it whistles. Anyone know why!!! Now it really sounds like a jet comming down the street!!!

Hole in IC?? Burst seam on IC?? Hole in air-to-air boot?? Just throwing those out there.

Thats what Im thinking. Are you using T bolt clamps or regular clamps?? Sounds like you have air escaping somewhere.

You might wanna head to a Kenworth or Freightliner dealer and snag some actual intercooler clamps that have a spring in them. I dont think normal hose clamps will cut it. You can put soo much more tension on the t-bar clamps..

i just picked some of these up, anyone running an FI setup should be picking these up saves the headaches of having to pull over after a WOT pass to put your piping back together
