As soon as I read the title I thought P to V, but I'm glad to hear that it's okay and the truck feels stronger. Can't wait to see those dyno numbers. Is that a custom ground cam? I couldn't find it on Comps website. I'm thinking something in that range for after my head swap.

Maybe you should still try for 13s on the stock converter.

 

I think so, I thought it would feel real soft on the low end, but it really doesn't. Almost feels better. The throttle response is alot crisper. It has a really nice idle too

 

I couldn't find it either when I first looked, I know someone else on the board has the same cam, its more of a FI cam. I am really impressed with it. The XER lobe does make alittle noise, but not bad.

I think the 13s are definately possible with this cam, the power feels very smooth. The other setup just fell on its face at 5200.

Thanks Richard, It feels real good. Well Grippy might reconsider, cause I think a Radix is next! I have been talking to Blown Chevy about it already. I need a break form the truck for alittle bit, so I have time to think.

I hope to get to the dyno this week or next, so I can get some new numbers
