You should have EGR, may or may not have AIR. EGR will be on the passenger's side exhaust manifold, there will be a pipe going from the ex manifold to an electronic valve, to the intake. If it has AIR, there will be an AIR pump with more ports going to both manifolds I believe...if you only see the EGR on the pass side, that's all you have.
FWIW, I wouldn't waste my money on shorties, I'd go for a good set of long tubes. I have shorties myself and the gains are very little to none. I'm saving up for some LT's.

as much as id luv to run long tubes ive been told that id have clearence issues because of it being a 4x4. are there certain long tube headers that would actually fit?
